It's Friday...it's Friday. Thankfully, it's Friday. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend with my husband. I'm not quite sure what we'll do tonight. Maybe stay home and rent a movie. Tomorrow we're heading to our favorite pancake house. I've been looking forward to it all week. I enjoy our conversations over coffee; it's amazing to see how many people who don't talk to each other at their tables.
We're not one for sensationalizing love by needing a 'special day' to celebrate it. I don't expect flowers; I don't want boxes of chocolate; I don't want jewelry (did that just come out of my mouth?!). To be honest, his random notes left around the house where I'll find them or the time he spelled out LUV U in Q-tips on the bathroom counter for me to find when I woke up mean more than any card he could deliver on February 14th. Since meeting Jason when I was 11, with all the experiences we've had together (and there's been a lot), the words are impossible to find to express on one day of the year. I want all 365 days to show him how amazing I think he is.
My confidant and best friend, I adore you.

Oooh, I hope you had a wonderful breakfast at the OPH - I'm soooo jealous!
And I'm totally with you on V Day, I think we're both lucky enough to have guys who show us how much we mean to them on a daily basis (as opposed to a few times a year). Amen to that! Have a great weekend!
Here here. It's so over commercialized! We spent last night in the garage getting down to Justin Timberlake... seriously, how romantic is that? Lol.
