Sweatpants....this is what I have been wearing since Friday night (and it's now Monday morning). I.love.it.
It's been a great weekend. Saturday morning we had breakfast at OPH. When we left, the lobby was quite full and as I was making my way through the mass of people I almost felt like I was parting the Red Sea. Everyone saw the belly coming and quickly squeezed up next to the people they were standing with. One woman thought I was out of ear shot when her husband asked her 'what are you doing'? Her response, 'most woman don't like their belly touched or bumping in to people'. It made me smile at the thoughtfulness.
From there we went to Babies R Us and bought the rest of what we needed. Seriously, we're ready. No more shopping...at least I don't think. Then we went to Baby On Grand and picked up our car seats. It was a bit exciting unpacking them in the living room and seeing not one, but two infant carriers sitting on the floor ready to be installed.

I was a cheap Valentine on Saturday night. All I wanted was a butter burger from Culvers and we had a get one free coupon at that. Through the drive-thru we went...in my sweatpants.
Our 31 weeks Sunday was spent getting odds and ends done around the house. I guess you could call it nesting. We went grocery shopping (still in sweatpants!) and took a nap together.
Bliss.
The nuggets are still finding PLENTY of room to bounce around. If they don't have room, they make room. I'm out of breath and light headed at the easiest tasks and nerve pain in my pelvis is a great reminder that my son still hasn't moved. They are heading in to a 'growth spurt' and as I read this I'm thinking, 'this is when the stretch marks must show their faces'. I'm a realist and seriously can't believe I would go through a twin pregnancy without any stretch marks.
We'll see just how big this growth spurt is.

Oh MY CUTENESS! Lex, that's such an adorable belly! Oh, and hold out hope, I have a friend who made it through twins without stretch marks!
No stretch marks? I'm sooooo jealous!
