50 degrees outside...Spring seems to be making its appearance here in the Winter tundra. Today, Jason and I pulled out the dog leashes and went for a walk. Maybe I should say, 'Went for a waddle'. People are finding excuses to be in their yard, the snow is melting away and babies you saw at the first snow in November now seem to have grown into toddlers.
Do they really grow that fast?
I can't help but hold up some of the clothes hanging in the nursery. I double check the tag and sure enough it reads 6-9 months. Are they really going to be THAT big at 6-9 months???
I've been getting quite a few glances...okay long stares actually. I look like I'm ready to go any day. When a husband turns around in his booth after his wife says something to him and he just so happens to be looking at me I realize just how 'ready' I must look. The comments are every day, 'you must be ready to POP, when are you due'? I've come to dislike the word "POP". Of course, people are even more surprised we're having twins and back peddle into a 'you're so tiny!'.
I like this comment better, of course.
Needless to say, total strangers don't think
before speaking to pregnant women.
Last Wednesday, Dr G said I was starting to thin out and I was a fingertip dilated. This Wednesday we'll find out if any forward progress has been made.
I'm quite curious if I'll make it to April 7th....

yes they will be! My 4 month old is in 6-9 and 9-12 month clothes!!
yes, march is the BEST month of the year! you know you want those kids out already anyways
