Can you believe we've finally hit the 34 week mark? Let me answer that...No! While I want Evi and Wyatt to be here already and the thought of making it through another 3-4 weeks petrifies me, it seems like just yesterday I was springing down the stairs, flinging open the sliding glass door to our porch and screaming at Jason (while still holding the pee stick of course) "I think we're pregnant!".
Jason and I are really trying to enjoy some quiet time and the simple pleasures of going out without the anticipated 30-45 minute prep we're probably heading for. We sat at breakfast this morning and just talked; the dogs were laying at our feet. I thought to myself these kinds of mornings are going to be very rare soon.
My hospital bag is almost completely ready to go and frankly I couldn't nest anymore if I wanted to. Everything 'seems' to be ready for this day to arrive. I'm not nervous; in fact surprisingly I feel very calm.
Today, Jason and I went and picked out the most adorable pink tutu for Evi. It's been on my list of things to buy for their newborn photo session. I can't wait to see her in it. I even splurged on an adorable little ribbon for her hair...will she even have hair!?
It doesn't matter...I just can't wait to hold them, look at them, smell them, love them.

Lex it been fun being able to read your blogs on how things are going. You will be a great momma. I remember when you were just a baby. You would be at our house and I would lay you on my chest and you would sleep. Oh I believe I was asleep also. Aunt Cany and I are really looking forward to seeing these two little bundles of JOY. Hang in they will be here before you know it.
Love ya, Uncle Ed
It will be here before you know it and you will want the first couple moments to last forever!
You're so close!
I can't wait!!!!
Awww, this post made me smile. =)
honestly i would forget your budget for now and go out to eat and movies and sleep in and read a book all day uninterrupted and all that... every day if you can. those days will never return (well at least without lots of extra effort). dont get me wrong it is fun in a new way, but is never gets easier, especially for mommy :) SPOIL YOURSELVES!
