We've got earlobes!

It's official, our babies no longer have "tails". At 9 weeks, they are about the size of a grape. The heart has finished dividing into 4 chambers and the teeth are forming. The eyes are formed and the eyelids are fused shut until about 27 weeks.

They've got earlobes too! If they are anything like my dad's, we're in big trouble. They are about the size of quarters, no joke. (Crossing fingers...no grandpa earlobes!)

The placenta is in place, which means the hormones "should" start to alleviate a bit and I can turn the corner from all day nausea. It hasn't been too terrible...I will admit. I can still function, go to work and keep food down. So many women have it worse.

My best friend, Kelly (in AZ), was induced last night. She and Matt went to the hospital at 7pm and still no word. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little girl...I'll soon be an auntie!

The bigger the earlobes the better! They're more fun to munch that way.

Wishing all the best down in AZ! It's an exciting time.

Awww, earlobes! That's so cute (but only if they aren't the huge, quarter-sized ones)!
