I can't believe it...the room across the hall from us will finally have a purpose. For the last 14 months since we moved into our new house, "the room" across the hall from us has been our storage room.
I admit, at times I called this room the "nursery", but after 6 months or so...it became known as the "Extra Room". Today, Jason cleared it out. All the boxes and bags of clothes to be donated are officially scattered around the basement looking for a new home. (Maybe we should finally make that trip to the Goodwill).
It's officially our nursery....nursery....not the extra room or the storage room...our babies nursery. The purple paint (don't ask) will need to be stripped and obvious decorations will be a winter project, but at least I can walk in there and stand in My Nursery.
So long "Extra Room".....

So exciting. That's one of the best parts of nesting. I'm so glad you get to do it! And I am sure you will do it in style. :-)
We had "an extra room", too, and earlier this year I got so pissed off that it had no purpose that I painted it a bright tropical blue color, and got some fun bedding and accessories to make it have some kind of purpose. Guess it's time to go out and get some Kilz, b/c that color is going to be a beotch to cover up!
