One Week To Go

I can't believe I am 11 weeks and have only one week left in the first trimester. This experience has felt like forever from ivf protocol to now, but now it feels like the weeks are just flying by. I feel fortunate to go through pregnancy during the Fall/Winter. The holidays and busy rush of this time of year will probably make the rest of this pregnancy feel like a flash.

The little peanuts are a little over 1.5 inches long and their bones are hardening. While they are kicking and stretching I can't feel them...in due time I suppose and I'm sure that will be one of the craziest moments of my life.

Tomorrow I have my 11-12 week appointment with Dr. G. It's an odd feeling, leading up to these appointment. You can't wait because you want to be assured everything is going according to plan, but you almost don't want to go in fear you'll hear something you don't want to know. Hopefully we'll have another ultrasound so I can see these little bundles again (which can never happen too often). It's my time to ask Dr. G all the questions I have....really? Does he really want me to read off the word document I've been accumulating over the past month since learning of twins? Ha! He has assured me though that I "can ask as many questions as you want"....I believe him.

I'll post the update tomorrow after our appointment and maybe even some new baby pics for the scrapbook! (ok...I really don't have a scrapbook, but you know what I mean). In the meantime, you've all been asking me for a belly pic. Ugh....flat tummy no more...here comes a growth spurt!
