It's hard work being Ms. Evelyn. I knew by the active nature of my daughter in the womb I would have my hands full.
Scratch that...
I would have grey hair by 35, an ulcer, dirt broke, a mind that races with fears she'll do HALF the things I did growing up and a gun sitting by the front door to welcome the boys who dare to enter our home to take her out.
Her personality is starting to peek through. She hates being left alone, loves to stare at you and give you the most adorable eyes you've ever seen. She will resist falling asleep as long as she can because she doesn't want to miss out on anything. Her heart melting smile is a killer (watch out all you people who try and tell her no). When she gets mad she gets fired up. She will be dramatic and sassy over anything not going her way.
She has started to coo and use her voice for more than just screaming. She will be quite the talker! She is a snuggle bug and I love to feel her warm breath on my neck as I'm rocking her to sleep. She snores...it's the cutest thing your ears have ever heard. A deep gurgled snore.
She loves to spit bubbles, even in her sleep.
And lastly, she has unfortunately inherited her mothers feet.
I'm so sorry my sweet darling. You will have a hard time finding shoes in your size, you will have the ability to water ski without the ski's. You will be able to hitchhike with your big toe (and if I ever learn you actually did hitchhike you are grounded for life!) and you will be able to entertain your friends by showing them all the things you can pick up with your 'finger-like' toes.
She is her mothers daughter!

Great pics, Alexis!!! How did the appt go???
Alexis...adorable pictures! She will be much like my daughter I am sure, we like to call her our persistent princess :)
The appointment was awful! They had to try TWICE to get a catheter in Evi to test for UTI (14% of infants have UTI's that causes extreme fussiness). I finally told them to stop after they kept commenting how irritated she was down there. Wyatt's test came back negative. Tomorrow we have the upper GI dye test and abdominal ultrasound to check for any twisted intestines, etc. I'll keep you posted...
Oh, those pictures! Well, she is making her needs known, which is highly "communicative", don't you think? :-)
Sorry for the testing. Sounds heart wrenching.
