Makes More Sense...

Today I had an OB checkup. I'm happy to report the blood pressure is perfect and I should find out the results of the Glucose test by Friday. I'm additionally happy (or not so) to report my weight gain made a bit more sense today. Apparently Dr. G's nurse, Michele (adore her she's so sweet) wrote down my last weight marker incorrectly which had Dr. G thinking my overall weight gain was 13 pounds. If you remember, I thought it was a little off because I was under the impression from my home scale I was up at least 18 pounds.

Well...I've gained 4 more pounds since December 23rd (two weeks) and that's right on track. AND...my actual overall weight gain as of today is 27 pounds. I'm not sure how to say this, but that sounds more like it YET it's a crazy concept to grab hold of. I'm just not used to hearing "you've gained 27 pounds". At least we're on track and doing great. I had a friend of mine tell me today that by her 8th month she had gained 72 pounds and she was only having one baby. Whew!

I go in next Wednesday for an ultrasound to track measurements. I love all these appointments!

Jason snapped this picture last night. Our Boston Terrier, Fitzgerald, has been missing out on lap time with me. He is quite the drama queen (yes I said queen instead of king for a reason). So last night, feeling a bit like a bad dog-mother I snatched him up and let him get comfortable. He was so cute with placing his paws around my belly and he just chilled out...obviously enjoying his lap time. I think he actually liked the extra bump he had to work with to get comfortable!

Well, you're so tiny--I still can't believe it. Cute dog!

Oh, and I would love to pick Jason's brain on the photography stuff. I'm so new but have found such a passion for it (as you can tell, I seem to post just so I can take more pictures, lol).

You're looking sooo great. :-) Love the stage when the babes have more swishy movement and less jabs! It's surreal.

Awww, what a great shot of you and Fitz! I love Bostons! And it totally makes more sense that you are up 27 pounds - you still look small as ever!
