8-10ish Weeks Left ???

Today we're 6 1/2 months pregnant and it's hard to believe, but since multiple pregnancies don't pass 38 weeks gestation that means we have 8-10ish weeks before Wyatt and Evelyn arrive. Lord willing we'll make it to 38 weeks, but the average is 36. How crazy is that?!

....I'm totally going to 'date' myself here, but think Europe blaring in my head "It's the final countdown...da na na na, da na na na na". The kids are fine tuning their hearing so having Jason read to them, playing music and getting them used to the dogs barking is in full swing. They are gaining baby fat (almost 2 pounds each now) and breathing amniotic fluid to get those lungs exercised.

Yesterday, I experienced really incredible movement from both of them. Jason had never felt such things before and my stomach was contorting all over the place. I was able to fall asleep on the couch, but when I transitioned upstairs for the night they both decided play time was commencing again and I was kept awake for at least another hour. There was no way to ignore those flips and flops going on.

*It must have been that piece of chocolate cake I ate and from the looks of it, they have a sweet tooth just like their dad!

Here I am at 6 1/2 months...first thing I asked Jason was,
"Should I be wearing stripes?"
