Today is 27 weeks and the babes are about 2.5 pounds now and just over 14 inches. They sleep in intervals of 20-40 minutes and I can tell exactly when they are napping. I have such active babies which makes me often wonder how this will relate to the kind of babies they will be. (Please Please Please Please let them like sleeping, being quiet, happy, no fuss babies....ya right!).
I'm feeling pretty good still, with the exception of my hips feeling like I'm 80 years old. Wyatt sits so slow so I really feel it. I get out of breath so easily it seems lately too. I've gained a pound this week which I think makes the total gain 29?? My medium maternity clothes barely fit anymore...I was really hoping this wouldn't happen, but I had a feeling it would. I'm just so tall and now with a growing belly my mediums are not long enough.
I'm still eating 'normal' with no cravings or midnight rushes to the fridge. No stretch marks....quick!...where is that plank of wood I keep around to knock on???
I created a log sheet for the twins. I read it's important to note feeding times and how much; diaper changes and pee or poo and sleeping intervals. This way you can not only keep track and review to make sure things are going as they should, but we can also answer medical questions like 'when was the last time Wyatt pooped' if we had to take him in to the doctor. It makes sense...I'm thinking with all the feedings, diapers and sleeping it will be hard to remember exactly who did what last. It's a pretty good log...took me almost the entire Cardinal game to finish!

Oooh, can I get a copy of that log sheet you created? Apparently having all of the time in the world doesn't motivate me enough to do one of my own...
My email is kerry@mastera.us
Thanks!!!
Congratulations!! I didn't know you were expecting twins. That's great.
I am assuming that your blog is the best way to communicate with you.
Glad you are doing well.

Alexis, are you following any certain books on sleeping/ eating? I have two great reccomendations... let me know if you're interested. Carter was sleeping through (twelve hours) at 4 months, Everett at 7 weeks!
