25 weeks...
The nuggets are about 1.5 pounds now and gaining daily it seems. When my mother in law was in town for a week she said I'm looking more pregnant than when she first arrived. I would have to agree. My belly today vs a week ago is larger yet.
I read at this point in the pregnancy we have 90% viability. A little reassurance, but of course never wanting pre-term labor to commence. I also read I'm suppose to be swollen at this point...fingers, feet, face, etc. I'm happy to report I have none of the above.
Yesterday my body decided to hit a wall and shut down. With company in town for a week, the holidays, etc...I was needing a day of nothing. My day consisted of the following...literally.
Woke up, Made Breakfast
Went to the market for groceries
Took a Hot Bath
Poured myself in sweats and headed for the couch
Stayed there until Jason woke me (my second nap of the day on the couch) at 10:30 to head up to bed.
I feel rested...I even slept an entire nights rest after two naps and all day lounging on the couch.
Something interesting has been happening with the movements of the babes. Evie has actually started to drag her feet and hands and it's the coolest thing to watch. Instead of little punches (which grow stronger by the day) both kids are filling out their space so we can actually track their full movements at times. Watching this kind of movement is such an odd experience.
On Wednesday I have another appointment with Dr G (going every 2 weeks now). I will drink a sugar cocktail just before I go for my Glucose Test...basically testing for gestational diabetes with some simple blood work. I'll be weighed (looking forward to this weigh in as I'm not stepping on the scale at home anymore), blood pressure, etc. No ultrasound at this checkup...the babes were right on track 2 weeks prior so it's not necessary.
