Well kids, you're the size of a banana. You've both been very active this past weekend, almost as if you're fighting for the right to call your space your own. You measure 10 inches from head to heal and you're about 12 ounces each. 5 months...just 3.5 more to go.
This weekend was a great holiday weekend for us. Of course we had the big news of equal blessings with a son and daughter. Thanksgiving day was casual with just Jason and I (we couldn't fly to AZ due to our risk factor). We put up our Christmas lights, rented 4 movies and took naps. I pulled Jason to a few baby boutiques; now that we can look at blue and pink it was fun to add to our registry. We measured out the nursery layout and ordered the decor for the walls, selected the paint colors.
This weekend was also a special weekend for Jason as he was able to feel the babies move for the first time. They are most active right in the morning (probably bouncing around saying 'feed me!') and also at night just after dinner. I certainly feel them more often too.
In the next 6 weeks they will gain about about 2.5 each so I'm ready for the big growth spurt. At 5 months I weighed in with a 15 pound overall gain.

That weekend sounds fantastic - I'm glad you were able to spend some quality time together, and that's soooo freakin' cool that Jason felt the babies move (Jeff will be jealous)!
Nice work on the weight gain, too! I can't wait for nursery pics!
