As a MoM (Mom of Multiples) at 18 weeks I can say I'm officially halfway there. This morning Jason took a picture to document the day...I'm sure this belly will be full speed ahead from here on out. At 18 weeks my weight gain is 9 pounds. The nuggets are 5 1/2 inches each. About the size of a bell pepper, and yes, I actually went to the fridge and looked at the bell pepper I have in there when I read that. Ha! I read in my Twins Book that they have knowledge of each other by now. They can't see or hear yet, but their movements appear very deliberate and far more coordinated. Twins at 18 weeks have been observed kicking each other through the membrane that separates them with regularity.
I've had Mexican food Friday, Saturday and yet again today. They will certainly know the value of family taco night!
On Saturday we picked up the nursery furniture. We'll wait to assemble the cribs until after we've painted, but the dresser and changing table is now in the room. To be honest, it made it feel a bit more real seeing even these two pieces sitting in the nursery. I have taped up on the wall paint swatches...my theme is coming together and I can't wait to see it take shape.
Sleeping is becoming a bit more uncomfortable and I may have to invest in a Snoogle body pillow. Jason took one look at the Snoogle when we were at Babies R Us and gave a hearty laugh. Umph!

You look ADORABLE!!!! I'm so glad you posted a full body shot - I think I'm going to start doing that, too. Isn't it amazing to see our bodies changing like this?
Are you kidding me? Cutest pregnant person ever... and hello, to twins? Nice work, my friend. :-) Whatever you're eating... stick to it. Ha!
