13 Weeks

We've officially passed the 13 week milestone. I woke up on Sunday and said to Jason, "13 weeks today...we're 1/3 of the way there". Apparently, this encouraged a chuckle from Jason because I said it monotone and flat. Don't get me wrong here, I'm THRILLED we're 13 weeks into this pregnancy and (prayerfully) we've passed the time frame where miscarriages happen most. I guess my dry tone was a compilation of realizing everything that needs to happen before these babies get here.

I've been storing away my closet bit by bit into bins for the Winter. Maternity clothes are washed and hung (my closet looks so empty now). Tomorrow I'm heading over to a friends house to raid her maternity clothes. I need more "work" clothes, but I'm refusing to spend a ton of money. I'm trying on maternity pants and thinking..."is this going to give me enough room to grow". I find I can talk myself out of anything and my indecisiveness seeps into every aspect of this pregnancy.

We had every intention on heading to Babies R Us this weekend...get a jump start on the basics for our registry. The thought of comparing and analyzing product while deciding what is ultimately best for our children made both our heads spin so we opted to delay if only for another week.

Jason cleaned out the garage while I took a nap and drooled all over the pillow....guess I was pretty tired. I knew I had drooled by the look on Jason's face...his eyes were as big a saucers! We bought the closet organizer for the nursery closet. Yet another project for Jason to tackle. He has a "honey do" list and takes it all in stride. I would venture to say the thing he likes least about me being pregnant is not being able to say no to projects. We went to Costco this weekend too...did you know you can buy a 832 count of baby wipes for $18? I guess we know where I'll be buying my wipes! Jason pointed out how cheap the Costco brand Kikkerland diapers were....I think not. I want to limit the number of times I clean poo oozing down my children's legs and back.

The babies are the size of a Peach (too bad they aren't the size of Tangerines...I can't seem to get enough of Tangerines).

I couldn't get enough of watermelon. So glad things are progressing. I just can't imagine you with a big belly...after always being flat. :) I will keep praying for those babies...and their parents.

Hahaha - Jeff can't say no either. It's AWESOME. I say we take advantage of it while we can, buddy!
