So last night I was emailing with a friend about the every looming question "To Pee or Not To Pee?". Do we pee on a stick and hope to see the results we're looking for; or do we wait for the Beta tests to say once and for all if this cycle worked.
...I'm totally a pee'er. I should buy stock in the companies who dangle these tests in the female aisle of the grocery store. You walk down the aisle with every intention of turning a blind eye, but there they sit....3 tests for the price of two! Taunting you....
Through the months I have pee'd on quite a few sticks, but I have yet to purchase a fancy digital pregnancy test. Why? Well, because I think it's just cruel and disappointing to see those those two words blaring back at you "NOT PREGNANT". Couldn't they have come up with a different way of breaking the news? Just a suggestion...what about "Next Time" or "Try Again" or "Not Yet".
Granted there are women out there who plead with the sticks for a negative response, but I can state with certainty it's the women like me struggling through this course who keep these companies in business.
I just find it funny. I'll stick with my method of looking for that second pink line...holding it up to the light and turning it at every angle to see if I'm missing something. One of these days there just has to be a second line.....right?

Love that the post was all about pee! Go to the dollar store, seriously, their tests are $1 and they're the ones the hospitals use!
